Papacitos Mexican restaurant in Brooklyn had me take the logo I created for them and make a sticker out of it. Sticker Robot did the printing and as usual they did an amazing job! If you're in the mood
Webster Hall gave me their reception area for their first Quarterly Arts Soiree, and I turned it into "Enchanto Land, an enchanted place that exists in the mind and the heart, full of colorful characters, laughter and happiness". I have always dreamed of making life size versions
of my characters, bringing them to "life". This was an opportunity to create something I'd always envisioned and also gave me the chance to work with two amazing people, my wife and my father. Their help was invaluable on this project. Each of these pieces has been cut out of wood and hand painted.
We had so many guests and made a lot of people very happy! Here are some pictures of the installation and our happy visitors!
Webster Hall is getting involved in the NYC art scene and I was asked to be a part of their first show! There is going to be all kinds of great art and events going on throughout the day. A portion of the door proceeds will be going to "Orphans International Worldwide" and there will be daylong intermittent complimentary champagne receptions. I'm doing a 10' x 7' freestanding display out of wood with some of my new characters in an exotic setting! The show is going to be really fun, so come check it out!
I've been experimenting with digital prints. This print was inspired by my memories of skateboarding and covering everything I own with stickers. Skateboarding has been one of the largest influences in my life and has had a tremendous impact on my artwork.
"A gifted, yet twisted elf named Herman Von Purpose was banished from Christmas Town for making dangerous toys. Swearing vengeance Herman kidnapped Santa's favorite polar bear and performed a series of experimental surgeries on him. After he finished creating his maniacal monster masterpiece he sent him to destroy everyone
in Christmas Town!"

The party at Papacitos was fantastic! Thanks to those who came out and thanks to everyone at Papacitos for making it such a fun night! Also thanks to Jesse Jones for showing some of his wonderful work with mine. I'll have some pics of the finished wall soon!
One of my closest friends owns a truly addictive Mexican restaurant in Greenpoint, Brooklyn called Papacitos. She asked me if I'd like to paint the 30' x 12' wall in the outside patio. I immediately said, "yes, please!" These are a few shots of the wall and it's progression. There's also a picture of a small shelter I built so I could keep painting during the insane amount of rain we were having.
